The best way to start hunting in a new country is to go to a local hunting club and find someone you trust to guide you.
Hunters need to know how to make a decent living, how to deal with traffic, what is legal in your area, and what to do if something goes wrong.
“Hunting clubs will take you to a different country every time,” says John Dickson, the founder and director of the Hunter and Angler Association.
“But there are no guarantees they will help you find a job.
They may offer a little bit of money to cover your travel expenses and food.”
Hunting clubs are also required to pay the travel costs of prospective members.
If you’re looking to make some money hunting in Australia, consider the Australian Wildlife Fund, which provides grants to local and foreign hunters to help them take up the sport.
Hunters who make the best out of the jobs available may be eligible for money back, and hunting clubs may also provide some financial assistance to hunters who do not.
But even if a hunting club offers a good deal, the hunt itself can be a challenge.
“The game is tough, and it is expensive,” says Dickson.
“You’re going to be competing against hundreds of people, sometimes even thousands of people.
You need to find someone who will do the job.”
