Job hunting resources in Australia for air hunters article The job hunting resources website AirHunter.com, which is managed by the Air Hunters Australia group, has been flooded with applications for the job.
“I’ve had around 100 people apply, mostly from overseas,” says Tim Kneib, an air hunter from Victoria.
“They’ve been wanting to apply for jobs for a while and have been looking for something that’s relatively easy to do, but also not too remote.”
He says he’s been getting a lot of applications.
“A lot of them are Australian workers looking for work, and some have been coming to Australia for a couple of years,” he says.
“There’s been a lot going on with the job hunting industry in the last couple of months, and a lot more jobs opening up.”
Job seekers are being encouraged to apply via the job search website, airhunter.com.au.
It currently allows up to 500 people to apply per job.
The job hunting site has a range of job categories including truck drivers, helicopter pilots, aircraft engineers, helicopter mechanics, aircraft and ground crew.
Job seekers can also apply for job hunting services through AirHunter Australia, which has about 400 job seekers registered.
Job hunting services are a way for job seekers to search for jobs online.
For example, you can apply for a job in a different industry to one you currently work in.
“You can have an online search in a way that’s very similar to a job search,” Mr Kneab says.
Job hunters can also use the site to apply directly for jobs through other agencies such as employment agencies, travel agencies and online recruitment sites.
But there’s one thing that AirHunter’s job hunting website doesn’t allow: a list of all the jobs that have been posted to job hunting sites in the past.
“It’s a very limited list,” Mr Neib says.
He says people who apply are not required to reveal their full name or address.
“We’re trying to get the word out there that it’s OK to apply on AirHunter if you want to, but we don’t want people to have to reveal who they are,” he said.
